Privacy Policy
Last updated June 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sluyce collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and the Service. It also describes the choices and rights you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email, password, organization, and profile details you provide.
- Billing information — plan, transaction history, and payment details processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
- Usage data — log data, device and browser information, IP address, and how you interact with the Service.
- Customer Data — the business and contact records you source, enrich, and store in Sluyce.
2. How we use information
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce usage and credit limits.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates.
- Send transactional emails such as email verification, password resets, and important account notices.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
3. Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent (where requested), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Customer Data and enrichment
When you use Sluyce to source or enrich records, we process that data on your behalf as a processor. We use third-party data and verification providers to return results. You are the controller of Customer Data and are responsible for having a lawful basis to process it. We do not sell Customer Data or your personal data.
5. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
- Subprocessors — cloud hosting, databases, analytics, payment, email-delivery, data-enrichment, and AI-model providers, under contractual safeguards.
- Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required.
6. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion as described below.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@sluyce.com. If a request concerns Customer Data we process for one of our customers, we will direct it to that customer.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA — including the rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
9. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
10. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for cross-border transfers.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
12. Changes & contact
We may update this Policy from time to time and will post the new version with an updated date. Questions? Email privacy@sluyce.com.
